"Meidu" Type Varieties

Variety traits:

  A new variety of high-quality watermelon, with green rind and dark blue streaks, red flesh, spherical fruit, vigorous growth, strong disease resistance, neat fruit setting, easy management, a single melon weighs about 6-7 kg, and the central sugar content can reach Above 13 degrees, the taste is good and the quality is excellent. Under normal temperature, it takes about 35 to 38 days from fruit setting to harvesting, and the yield is good and stable.

Suitable planting area and planting season:

Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shanghai, Anhui and Henan areas: sowing from January 15 to February 28; Southwest China: sowing from November 1 to November 30; Central China: sowing from June 10 to July 10;

In other areas and other stubble, the sowing date should be reasonably arranged according to the local climatic conditions.
